Where do you spend your star filled nights on Jungle Daddy,s Adventure Survival Tours ?
You spend your nights under the star-filled sky, nestled in your sleeping bag atop your sleeping mat inside your fantastic tent brought from home.
Are electricity, toilet facilities, and other amenities available?
To immerse ourselves in the jungle experience, we venture into remote regions devoid of infrastructure, where amenities are minimal or nonexistent. Expect no electricity, internet, or cell phone signal. In our camps, we create makeshift latrines and bathe in the rivers.
Do your survival adventures have age limits?
If you are aged 80 or above this trip might be a touch problematic. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardine.
What is the usual number of travelers on a survival adventure?
Between two and eight people.
How many staff are on the Jungle Daddy’s Team?
We run our survival adventure tours with 2 guides and a chef.We also employ part time staff for the moving days.
Is there a deadline for booking the experience of a life time?
We accept bookings up to 4 days in advance.
What information is required to book a trip?
Apart from the monetary deposit, we ask all travelers to complete a personal information form and sign the Release of Liability document, both of which will be sent to them.
How do I book an Jungle Daddy’s Adventure Survival Tour?
To make a reservation, please email jungledaddys@gmail.com with your chosen itinerary, number of participants, and desired expedition date. If you plan on climbing with us, kindly specify your climbing experience and any fear of heights. Upon availability confirmation, a 50% advance payment of the total amount is required to secure the reservation via Bank Transfer or PayPal. Please note that any bank or money transfer fees are the responsibility of the client. The 50% is paid on the first day on arrival at the pick point in Santa Marta Colombia.
What kind of food will be provided?
We provide three meals a day, including snacks, all prepared with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients by a chef who accompanies our adventures.
Do you offer vegetarian, vegan or special diets?
We offer only standard meat meals and a vegetarian option, and cannot customize the diet to individual preferences in bigger groups, for private tours we can arrange any type of food you wish.
Can I leave part of the luggage in Santa Marta?
Yes you can, most hostels or hotels offer this service for free or a small fee, however you can store part of your luggage you wont need in santa marta with us too.
How much money should I take for trips?
In our tour package, everything is covered, including three meals a day, snacks, transportation, guides, and more. However, we may pass through villages with small stores where you have the opportunity to purchase items if desired. Therefore, it's advisable to carry some cash with you during the trip.
What is an appropriate amount for tipping?
The amount you choose to tip, if so, will be based on your satisfaction with the service provided. Tips in Colombia typically range from15-25%, but the final amount is entirely at your discretion.

Which Shoes to bring?
During day hikes, we suggest wearing trekking shoes, while rubber boots are recommended for nighttime excursions or wet weather conditions and river walks. Rubber boots provide superior protection against scrapes from leaves or thorns, as well as insect bites.
Should I bring water to drink?
No, just bring a lifestraw to make things 100% safe.
Is prior camping experience required?
Yes, it is beneficial to have some familiarity with camping. For instance, you will be responsible for setting up your tent, although assistance will be provided. Having basic camping knowledge is advantageous for a smoother experience.
Is prior climbing experience required?
No. Motivation, no fear of heigts are enough to start climbing adventures.
Can we recharge batteries?
Yes, if everything goes as planned you'll have once a day the chance to charge up your batteries.
Do you offer travel insurance?
No, we highly recommend you to get an insurance before you start your journey with us.

1 For increased security and improved service, it is essential for every participant to fill out and email the Personal Information Form. Failure to do so releases us from responsibility for any organizational errors or delays that may occur during your trip.
2 Every participant is required to complete and sign the Release of Responsibility Form and submit it via email.
- Considering that all departures are scheduled before midday to make the most of the expedition, we suggest that you arrive in Santa Marta one day before starting the itinerary. Many of our itineraries are flexible and can be customized according to the interests of our travelers.
- The itineraries and activities may vary according to weather conditions and the seasons that regulate the level of the rivers in the region.
- Jungle Daddys specializes in adventure tourism within the jungle. For overnight stays, we camp in the tents provided by participants. Please note that Jungle Daddys does not provide luxury travel accommodations or lodges, only in private tours.
- The food that is served in our expeditions is varied and includes local seasonal food.
- After your adventure, it's highly recommended to allocate at least two days for rest before returning home or continuing with your trip, as you may feel exhausted.
- Jungle Daddys cannot accept responsibility in the event of delays beyond our control that may result in missing your international flight or other connections.
- Jungle Daddys bears no responsibility for fortuitous causes or force majeure, unforeseeable and unavoidable circumstances that may impact the itinerary. Such events include situations beyond our control, such as natural phenomena, road closures due to strikes, or other factors that may disrupt our planned activities.
- In the event that a participant, group, or part of the group chooses to return voluntarily before completing the itinerary, Jungle Daddys will not provide any form of refund, and the traveler(s) will be responsible for covering the transportation costs back to Santa Marta.
- We strongly advise each participant to obtain their own international insurance. Jungle Daddys does not bear any financial responsibility for medical or evacuation expenses that may arise.
- While sightings of wild animals cannot be guaranteed, venturing into remote areas where they have been spotted increases the likelihood of encountering them.
